Organized by the Italian Tennis & Padel Federation, a new sporting event will be held in the city of Cremona; this is Pickleball, a sport halfway between tennis and padel and which will be hosted in 3 stages under the Torrazzo and which will be part of the “Road to Turin” circuit. The first stage will be held on the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June on the fields of the Asd Cral Aziende Sanitarie Cremonese and will see the Open tournaments in men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles which will be spread over 2 days. The second stage will be hosted with the same program on 20 and 21 July on the Stradivari Tennis courts, and finally the third stage which will return to the Cral Aziende Sanitarie Cremonesi will be held on the weekend of 21 and 22 September. At the end of the 3 Cremonese stages, a regional master will be held at a venue yet to be established which will be held on the weekend of 12 and 13 October and once this “step” has also been completed, the National Master will be held which will be valid as “Road to Turin” which will be hosted under the Mole Antonelliana from 9 to 17 November, on the occasion of the Nitto ATP Finals. All players in possession of a valid FITP card, both competitive and non-competitive and valid for tennis, padel or beach tennis, are eligible to participate in the event.
