“Go vote. Don’t take anything for granted. Choose the Ferrara you want in the coming years. What you are called to make is not a trivial decision: our city is at a crossroads. There are substantial differences between my proposals, which look to the future with pride and concreteness, and those of those who want to return to the past and interrupt the path undertaken. In these five years we have demonstrated, with facts, that changing direction is possible and we have laid the foundations to continue moving forward in the same direction. But to do this we need everyone’s presence and commitment. On 8 and 9 June, whatever your idea, go and vote: Ferrara needs you.
Exercising the right to vote is always important, but it is even more important when it comes to choosing between two very different paths. The vision we have for the future of the city is clear, just as the change we promised and brought is there for all to see. On the other hand, as the electoral campaign of the Democratic Party candidate has shown, the ideas are a little more confused and the only real objective is to prevent us from managing in the next five years, to go back, to cancel everything that has been built , almost with resentment and only in the name of old ideologies far removed from the needs and desires of the people.
In a few days, it’s your turn, citizens. If you want a Ferrara that looks forward, increasingly proud and lively, capable of emerging, attracting and becoming an example of innovations and ideas, then choose me. If you still want a city capable of hosting large events, where music is the protagonist, culture is suitable for everyone and is capable of involving and speaking to even the youngest, then vote for me. If you want to continue fighting, together with us, to bring our city to be among the first in Emilia Romagna even in difficult and complex areas such as those of work and economic development, we are ready.
If I am mayor for the second time, I will continue without hesitation on the path undertaken, convinced and proud of leading, together with you, our city to grow further and the citizens to be even more proud of being from Ferrara”.
