Sportpertutti Fest: the Uisp Finals invade the Romagna Riviera

Press conference and national press release for the launch of the Uisp event, with over 30 thousand athletes involved between June and July

Sportpertutti Fest, starting today, will be a unique opportunity to get to know it up close the protagonists of the Uisp national finals and to delve deeper into some aspects of social sport for all, such as the commitment to combating violence against women and inclusive value of sport.

“The people of sport for everyone will color the Romagna Riviera between June and July – said the Uisp national president Tiziano Pesce during the national presentation which was held on Thursday 13 June – there will in fact be 32,500 participants in the “Sportpertutti Fest 2024″ for a whirlwind of events and workshops on the occasion of some of the major national finals and reviews of the Uisp Championships, with swimming, volleyball, basketball, football”.

Sportpertutti Fest 2024 will come alive this weekend, with the basketball and swimming. On Friday 14 June, the spotlight will be on the Riccione Swimming Stadium, where 4,000 athletes aged 8 to 20 will take to the pool. At the same time, until Sunday, over 100 teams from all over Italy will take to the field on the parquet of 20 gyms in Rimini and Riccione for the Uisp men’s and women’s basketball finals and national events. This weekend’s program will be completed by the Uisp wheelchair basketball national finals, with 8 teams competing for the title in the Eurocamp facilities in Cesenatico.

“This is an event that allows the entire Uisp to enhance its association network – he said Enrico Balestra, president of Uisp Emilia Romagna and national manager of Uisp of the Digital Activities and Innovation Department – we start from the territories with our activities thanks to a widespread presence and the continuous and constant relationship with ASD and sports clubs”. Thousands of people, especially young people, will reach the Romagna Riviera from all over Italy and will base themselves at the Uisp Village of the “Sportpertutti Fest 2024” which will be located near Operà, via Goethe 46, located in the Marano area, the border area between Rimini and Riccione.

The prologue of Sportpertutti Fest was held in Cesenatico with the Uisp national artistic gymnastics finals male and female, with 3000 young people. The conclusion of the event was held on June 13th with free performances and a final party with the participants.

Here are some of the events scheduled in the next few days. From Thursday 20 June in Rimini they will enter the scene volleyball and football. Spotlight on volleyball with the Exhibition, on the evening of 22nd a party with dinner at the Frontemare and on Sunday 23rd June, in the morning, awards ceremonies and a final party for the 20th anniversary of the Uisp volleyball championships in Rimini.
