There split of the centre-right to Vittorio Veneto this is now well known. But now, in view of the ballot on 23 and 24 June, the League He has decided: full support for the centre-left. In the municipality in the province of Treviso, on March 29th, the Forza Italia supporters had split the majority front, deciding to support Posocco’s candidacy, in coalition with the list led by Gianantonio Da Re, expelled MEP and historic exponent of the Northern League. Also known in the news for having given a Matteo Salvini of the “idiot”. And after the results of the polls – 41% to the left-wing coalition e 32% to the right with Forza Italia – Vittorio Veneto will return to vote to choose the mayor.
And so it appears incurable the split in the center-right of Vittoria. Braido, as reported by the newspaper Treviso Todayit seems to have appreciated the centre-left candidate’s interest in him after his defeat in the elections. But the representative of the Northern League intends clarify: the invitation it’s just to vote for Balliana and not of take sides with her. But there’s more. In the case of Posocco’s election as mayor, Braido has already announced that will give up to his position as minority councilor which is rightfully his after the electoral results of the first round. While if the center-left wins, he is ready to return to the city council
Vittorio Veneto is not an isolated case. The political earthquake that caused the split in the center-right fronts had already occurred in Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza), where the League has downloaded his mayor to go against Fratelli d’Italia. And then to Chioggia (Venice), where the mayor of the Carroccio, Mauro Armelao had communicated, last March 29th, with a note, the break definitive with the party of Giorgia Meloni. A tear that had worn away – the mayor had written – “after four months of back and forthwhich began with the revocation of the powers of the former vice mayor Daniele Tiozzo Brasiola in FdI quota, revocation agreed with their provincial secretary of Venice”.
