CATANIA – Catania is the leader of the “SportComune” project financed by Sports and Health. A record recognized for the city for its ability to redevelop the squares by focusing on the renovation and design of playgrounds and sports equipment.
Every weekend, square Beppe Montana in San Giovanni Galermo, Piazza Franco Battiato (formerly Piazza Nettuno) on the Catania seafront and Villaggio Sant’Agata they will become spaces where young people can play sports (for free) assisted by federal technicians Cones.

From Saturday 15 June until Saturday 26 October Piazza Beppe Montana, Piazza Franco Battiato (formerly Piazza Nettuno) and Villaggio Sant’Agata will be divided into areas where children can practice, assisted by federal instructors, football, basketball, volleyball, skating, athletics, rugby, hockey, dance, martial arts, badminton, gymnastics. All activities are free.
