Digital facilitation centers, three locations in L’Aquila

L’AQUILA – The resolution for joining the Project on Digital Facilitation Centers has been approved. Persichetti: “The Municipality aims to have three offices in the area”.

With the agreement with ANCI Abruzzo And Abruzzo Progetti SpA Companythe in-house company with total public participation by Abruzzo Region, the possibility of participating in the event was opened to Municipalities network of digital facilitation servicesdrawing on the resources of PNRR. “The municipal administration of L’Aquila – explains al Capital of Abruzzo Katia Persichetti, councilor delegated for digitalisation – wanted to seize this opportunity for the benefit of citizens, who will thus be able to access the digital facilitation centers that will be established in the municipal area. The project was born from the need to broaden the experience of using digital technologies and platforms by citizens, who thus have learning places available in the area with specific teaching methods. At the same time there will also be the possibility of organizing public meetings to propose real activities digital literacy. At the moment the locations are being identified, which will be three throughout the municipal territory.”

But not only that, as stated in the resolution, “through the use of specific actions involving local authorities, we will try to obtain the following purpose: recognition of digital facilitation services already present in the area; detection of the training needs of the resident population; raising citizens’ awareness through the organization of information seminars and thematic focuses; support in cataloging the digital literacy services that will be provided; support in the identification and localization of digital facilitation points”.

“The important aspect – concludes Persichetti – is represented by memorandum of understanding between ANCI Abruzzo and Società Abruzzo Progetti SpA which opened up the possibility for local authorities to participate in the project. The municipal administration wants to take the opportunity to make the best use of these PNRR funds as well.”
In particular, this is Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, called “Italy tomorrow”which is structured into sixteen Components, grouped into six Missions, including Mission 1 entitled: “Digitalisation, innovation, competitiveness, culture and tourism”, which aims to accelerate the digitalisation process of the country, through investments which will affect businesses , Public Administrations and citizens”.
