They communicated through a micro camera connected to a mobile phone from the examination room of the Civil Motorization of Messina outside, during the theoretical test for obtaining the “Driver Qualification Card”.
A 44-year-old man has been reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Messina because he is accused of having falsified the theory exam necessary to obtain the “Driver Qualification Card” and will have to answer for the crimes of forgery and fraud against the State.
The camera worked with a Wi-Fi connection and transmitted the images of the exam form displayed on the candidate’s monitor to the outside and then, with micro earphones, allowed the examinee to receive the instructions necessary to fill in the exam form. The operators, suspicious of the candidate’s strange movements, waited for the end of the test to carry out a check on him; during the search, the electronic tools used and other material useful for the investigations were found.
The Driver Qualification Card is a qualifying document that is added to the driving license and is necessary for all drivers who professionally carry out the road transport of people and goods on vehicles for which driving a category C, CE license is required , D and DE. The CQC is issued for each of the two modes of transport: to drive vehicles used for the transport of goods and to drive those for the transport of people.
