VERONA. A Trentino, or rather a… Trentin arrives at Hellas Verona.
Together with Paolo Zanettinew coach of the Scaliger club, arrives, or rather, returns to the city of Romeo and Juliet, also the athletic trainer Fabio Trentin, who has been on the Tuscan coach’s staff for several years.
Forty-one years old, born and raised in Borgo Valsugana, after a decent career as an amateur footballerTrentin – who studied Sports Science at the University of Verona – he began his journey as a trainer in the youth sector of Chievo, and then moved to Domegliara (with Paolo Vanoli, about to join Torino, as coach) and Mezzocorona, in Serie D.
In 2012 he made the leap to the professionals, moving to Südtirolwhere he remained for six seasons, collaborating first with Stefano Vecchi and then with Paolo Zanetti. In 2018 he finished his experience in Bolzano and, called back by Vecchi himself, he goes at Venicein Serie B, but the adventure does not last long because, with the dismissal of the current coach of Vicenza, all the staff are also relieved.
However, it arrives by very short return post the phone call from Zanetti, who wants Trentin in his working group, after the fruitful collaboration in the two years spent together with Südtirol. The team is Ascolibut the season is “inexplicable”, with the coach (and also his staff) sacked in January with the Juventus team, which started with the objective of salvation, firmly in mid-table and just three points away from the playoff zone.

In 2022 the physical trainer will moved to Empoli, achieving a wonderful survival three days before the end of the regular season. The Tuscan club renews the contract of Zanetti and his staff, but the second year ends with a decidedly premature turnover after a few days.
Now the arrival at Hellas Verona, where it all began: annual contract for all staff with automatic renewal if salvation is achieved.
