The last weekend of the wettest spring ever in Lombardy and Northern Italy it will not give great satisfaction to those looking for sun and heat in view of trips out of town and stays in tourist resorts. We still expect days of clouds and sudden rainfall in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas, especially on Saturday 15 June, and predominantly dry conditions in the rest of the region. Temperatures, still slightly lower than normal, will undergo a gradual rise and will reach around the norm for the period but only starting from Sunday. Friday 14 June
Over the entire region veiled, with more marked densifications in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas; variable cloud cover, decreasing from late afternoon in the eastern areas. No precipitation except for some occasional showers in the mountain areas in the central hours of the day, especially in the north-west sector. Minimum temperatures stationary or slightly decreasing, maximum temperatures slightly increasing. In the plains minimums between 12 and 15 °C, maximums between 22 and 26 °C.
Saturday 15 June
Insistent thickenings on the Alpine and pre-Alpine areaselsewhere variable cloudiness. Precipitation at night and in the morning possible, weak scattered on the Alpine and pre-Alpine reliefs, more probable on the North-West sector; in the afternoon and until the early evening, thundershowers in the Alpine and especially pre-Alpine areas, occasionally in the neighboring plain areas. Temperatures: minimums and maximums slightly increasing. In the plains minimums around 16 °C, maximums around 27 °C
Sunday 16 June
Over the entire region variable cloud cover but with less frequent and less compact cloud cover in the plains compared to the mountainous areas. Precipitation in the mountainous areas possible scattered showers, more likely in the afternoon hours; elsewhere absent or only occasional. Temperatures: minimum stationary, maximum slightly rising.
The trend
Monday and Tuesday mostly clear or partly cloudy; Temporary cloud cover is possible in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas, especially in the afternoon hours, with rain rooms. Minimum temperatures without significant variations, maximum slightly increasing. Weak winds of variable direction in the plains, weak in the mountains from the south-west quadrant with reinforcements at times in the Alpine belt.
