Yesterday, Thursday 13 June 2024, a meeting was held in Trieste conference organized by Almalaurea regarding the employment rate of graduates in our peninsula. Among these, those of the University of Verona: encouraging data which confirms the prestige of the Veronese University.

With 80.4% employment of graduates three-yearly one year after graduation, this year too Verona exceeds the national average still at 74.1% and also the regional one at 78.3%. This is stated by the data processed by the Almalaurea consortium, presented yesterday, Thursday 13 June 2024, in Trieste, during the conference “Graduates and international dimensions: from university to the labor market”.

The AlmaLaurea report on the profile of graduates analyzed the educational performance of approximately 300 thousand graduates of 2023 from 78 universities. In particular, these are 163 thousand first level graduates, 102 thousand from two-year master’s degrees and 31 thousand from single cycle courses.

As regards the employment status of graduates, it analyzed approximately 660 thousand graduatesof 78 first and second level universities from 2022, 2020 and 2018 contacted, respectively, one, three and five years after graduation.

Excellent data on the employment rate

Excellent data relating to employment rate of Scala graduates. 80.4% of Scala’s three-year graduates have already found a job one year after graduation with an average net monthly salary of 1,494 euros.

Good also regarding second level graduates with an employment equal to81.5% after one year (75.7% national average), given that it reaches 90.1% at five years (88.2% national average).

The report also shows that the average age at graduation is d25.6 years old with 69.4% of current graduates and an average grade of 104 out of 110. 80% have done internships and internships and 77.9% have carried out a job during their university studies.

In an area where the production system is highly competitive, being able to include young, well-prepared figures oriented towards creativity and innovation can only generate added value”.

90.1% of graduates are satisfied with the relationship with the teaching staff and 85.1% consider the study load adequate for the duration of the course. Regarding the infrastructures made available by the university, 91.6% of the graduates who used them considered the classrooms adequate. More generally, the 90.3% of graduates declares itself satisfied with the university experience as a whole.

It is our duty to guarantee these girls and boys not only quality training courses in line with the needs of the world of work but also a high quality of university life”.
