the fourth stage passes through Orvieto, Solomeo and Passignano

The Mille Miglia arrives in Umbria. After the first three stages which crossed most of the country, over 400 vintage cars and 120 Ferraris will pass through the heart of Italy for the 42nd edition of this historic regularity race.

With the fourth stage on Friday 14 June the crews will cross Umbria, go up from Amelia to Orvieto – after the last passage in June 2021 -, and then stop in Solomeo, location for lunch. After the break it will be the turn of Passignano sul Trasimeno, Sinalunga, Asciano, Siena, Radda in Chianti and Prato before proceeding to the arrival in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna).

The historic Mille Miglia this year sees an unusual anti-clockwise route, which recalls the myth of the first editions. Before Umbria, the over 400 participating crews from 33 countries around the world crossed Brescia, Bergamo, Novara, Vercelli, Turin, Acqui Terme, Genoa, Viareggio and Lucca, Castiglione della Pescaia, Marta, Viterbo, Ronciglione and Rome.

The fifth stage, on the final day of Saturday 15 June, will touch Ferrara, Bovolone and VillaFranca, then Lake Garda with Valtenesi and Salò to finish with the classic walkway in Viale Venezia.
