There are three training days on the calendar, starting next week from Catanzaro and then continuing to Vibo and Crotone. Lessons to raise awareness and better welcome customers
Train and inform about gluten-free nutrition. This is the objective of the course promoted and organized by the committee for female entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce of Catanzaro, Crotone and Vibo Valentia aimed at tourist-accommodation facilities in the three provinces under the jurisdiction of the chamber of commerce.
The initiative, approved by the committee during the last meeting, has the aim of raising awareness on the delicate issue of eating disorders by involving those who are directly called to welcome users, especially in view of the summer season with the increase in tourist presences in the regional territory.
The course is carried out in collaboration with the AIC – Italian Celiac Association Calabria APS and will take place according to a calendar that includes three appointments starting next week. The first training day will be held on 18 June in Catanzaro, then continued on 21 June in Vibo Valentia and, finally, on 26 June in Crotone in the respective offices of the chamber of commerce.
The course will be divided into two parts, both theoretical: the first dedicated to the pathology and the gluten-free diet, the second will focus on how to manage the preparation and service of a safe gluten-free alternative. The lessons will be held by professionals who are experts in the pathology and management of the gluten-free diet in the catering and hospitality sectors.
In particular, the training days are intended to provide an incentive to tourist accommodation facilities to undertake every useful measure in order to best welcome those affected by this disorder.
