UDINE – The raging conditions of the Natisone River marked another day of relentless search for Cristian Molnar, the 25-year-old whose disappearance continues to keep an entire community anxious. Despite the cloudiness and the very fast current, as underlined by the mayor of Premariacco, Michele De Sabata, the rescue operations did not stop, attempting to bring some glimmer of hope to the Molnar family.
The difficulty of intensified searches
The searches in the Natisone, a river that shows a relentless character, continued unabated for over two weeks. The divers continued diving in the river bed, despite being aware of the risks associated with the strong current.
From the last report to the regional mobilization
Since Cristian was last seen, overwhelmed by the flood, the community of Premariacco has not stopped looking for him. Last Sunday, the searches extended to Manzano, even though this area had already been checked previously. The rescue teams, made up of firefighters and Civil Protection personnel, remain mobilized en masse.
