The event “Marina: centers of excellence in the Blue Economy” was held with great success at the Marina Sveva Tourist Port in Montenero di Bisaccia. Moderated by Antonello Barone, the event, organized by the Blue Marina Awards, saw the participation of numerous industry professionals, institutional representatives and entrepreneurs. During the meeting, sustainability and innovation in the management of tourist ports were discussed, with particular attention to the investments and services offered by Marina Sveva, such as house boats, massage centers, restaurants, and ecological management systems.
The President of the Molise Region praised the initiative as an example of excellence in the sustainable management of ports, underlining the importance of collaboration between public and private to promote the blue economy. Among the topics covered, the creation of energy communities, zero environmental impact solutions, accessibility for people with disabilities, and the integration of cycle tourism.
Notable participants included the President of the Molise Region, the Mayor of Montenero di Bisaccia, representatives of Assonautica Italiana, and other industry representatives. Several companies presented innovative projects, including MET Energia Italia, which proposed the installation of photovoltaic systems in marinas.
The event reiterated the strategic importance of tourist ports in the economy and the environment, highlighting how innovation and sustainability can create economic value and well-being for the territory. The success of the initiative was seen as a step forward for Italian marinas in addressing the challenges of digitalisation and the post-pandemic ecological transition.
