Saturday June 15 a demonstration with procession will take place organized by the Turin Pride LGBT Coordination with the patronage of the City of Turin, the Metropolitan City, the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts, the Polytechnic of Turin and the University of Turin.

The departure

The parade it will leave around 4.30pm from Corso Principe Eugenio, in the stretch between Corso Regina Margherita and Beccaria, where participants are expected to be present from 2.30 pm. The event will move towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where it is expected to arrive around 8.00 pm.

The procession will follow the following path: departure – Corso Principe Eugenio, Corso Beccaria, Piazza Statuto, Corso San Martino, Piazza XVIII Dicembre, Via Cernaia, Via Pietro Micca, Piazza Castello, Viale Primo Maggio, Viale Partigiani, Corso San Maurizio (central carriageway), along Po Cadorna, Piazza Vittorio Veneto – arrival.

The route will be closed to vehicular trafficincluding bicycles and scooters, starting from 2.00 pm and cannot be crossed. The roadways crossed by the event and those who cross the path will be closed for the time necessary to guarantee the safe passage of the procession. Due to the numerous unpredictable variables, including the number of participants and the pace of the route, it is not possible to establish the times and duration of the closures in advance, therefore, it is advisable to use alternative roads.

The following streets will therefore also be closed:

  • Gym course
  • Corso Bolzano, in the stretch between Corso Matteotti and Piazza XVIII Dicembre
  • Corso Vinzaglio, in the stretch between Corso Matteotti and Via Cernaia
  • Corso Galileo Ferraris, in the stretch between Corso Matteotti and Via Cernaia
  • Siccardi Course
  • Solferino Square
  • Corso Re Umberto, in the stretch including Corso Matteotti
  • Via San Francesco d’Assisi
  • Via XX Settembre
  • Via Po
  • Via Rossini
  • Via Vanchiglia
  • Along Po Diaz
  • Corso Cairoli

Also the Vittorio Emanuele I Bridge (Gran Madre bridge) will be CLOSED.

Do not stop

The law will be in force along the entire route parking ban with forced removal for all vehicles, including bicycles and scooters, from 09.00 on 15 June until the end of the event (11.00 pm).

Even the releases of underground parking of pizza Vittorio Veneto they will be closed.

Even the paths of means of public transport who pass through the area affected by the event will suffer some deviations from 1.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
