The petition launched on the online platform change.org called “Save the youth sector of Us Ancona” has already reached over a thousand signatures. The online appeal was launched by Lucia Pirani, mother of a boy from the youth sector, which received the approval of many parents and supporters. “We parents – we read in the petition – ask that the youth sector be saved because the human and football capital to be safeguarded is immense”. Furthermore, the parents of the youth sector ask “that the commitment, seriousness and sportsmanship with which they wore the Ancona shirt be recognised”.
