The ANFFAS Giulio Locatelli Onlus Foundation (former ANFFAS Onlus Association) has been managing the residential and semi-residential center for people with disabilities with the need for intensive and/or high support for thirty years which currently has 48 residential and 30 semi-residential places and which also offers a breathing function service, as well as a residential (8 places) and semi-residential (3 places) service for minors with disabilities, which since 2017 has been the only one in the Fvg Region authorized to operate.
In particular, this service for minors allows the boys and girls welcomed to benefit from a dedicated environment aimed at inclusion and schooling where possible and this is also thanks to the fruitful and intense work of sharing with the medical and nursing staff of the pediatric department of the hospital. ‘Civil Hospital of Pordenone.
In 1994, the Giulio Locatelli Center was the only one in the region capable of welcoming this type of user and in 2024 it celebrates thirty years of activity, knowing that it has allowed numerous families to find an answer to their support needs and to Dopo di Noi. The Center represented a real home where people with disabilities had the opportunity to live with dignity while respecting their needs and expectations. The Center is seen as the home of our “kids”, who we still call that even though many of them are already of advanced age, while in reality it is us, family members, operators and volunteers, who consider ourselves their guests.
After thirty years of daily work to guarantee a life as dignified and inclusive as possible, important challenges still await us for the future such as the ongoing experimentation for the institutional accreditation of residential and semi-residential services with AsFO, which certainly represents a an indispensable moment to guarantee the continuity of the work carried out so far together with the construction of the individual life project for the person with disabilities.
Recently adjacent to the ANFFAS Giulio Locatelli Centre, two social condominiums with four apartments each for a total of twenty places were built to respond to the problem of Dopo di Noi in a context of community life for people with intellectual and relational disabilities (Rosa Blu Condominium) and to respond to paths of possible autonomy and independent living (Condominium Autonomy).
The Foundation is also completing the creation of social gardens adjacent to the Mario De Palma public park, with the hope that they will become a point of reference for our guests and for all those who wish to participate in sharing the cultivation of a vegetable garden.

The event will open on President of the Anffas Bruno Bagatella Foundation together with Director of Services Marco De Palma.
The event of the inauguration ceremony of the condominiums will close on vicar of the Bishop Mons. Roberto Tondato with the blessing and cutting of the ribbon of the Autonomia Condominium.
