Fabio Maria Damato leaves the role of general manager of the Ferragni group, abandoning the management of the companies. This change was announced by Fenice and TBS Crew with a note: “As of June 16, 2024, Fabio Maria Damato will cease from the role of General Manager and advisor of both companies to pursue other professional opportunities. The change is part of a process of corporate renewal.”
Fabio Maria Damato, originally from Barletta, has often been at the center of discussions in recent months due to his involvement in the Balocco case and for the statements of Fedez, who expressed his dissent towards the manager’s actions. It seems that Damato was the “manager of discord”, responsible for the crisis between the Ferragnez family, due to his role in the Christmas pandoro scandal. The responsibilities for this affair fell entirely on Chiara Ferragni, both in her private life and as a public figure and entrepreneur.
Fedez, during an interview on the television program “Belve”, openly criticized Damato, stating that Chiara Ferragni chose to take the blame for the whole affair alone. Damato, for his part, has made few public statements. On May 7, interviewed by the “Far West” program, he said: “I can’t add anything, I’m an employee of the company. I work for Mrs. Ferragni, that’s all.” This comment dates back to about a month ago, when Damato still defined himself as an employee of Chiara Ferragni. To the accusations made by Fedez, he responded laconically: “Nothing to say.”
The scandal exploded in December and led, in January, to the news of the investigation into Fabio Maria Damato for aggravated fraud linked to the cases of the Pink Christmas pandoro, created in collaboration with the Balocco company, and the Dolci Preziosi Easter eggs. Since then, the manager has kept a low profile, limiting himself to a few appearances on social media. Now, his exit from the Ferragni group marks a significant step in the company’s corporate renewal process.
