“Good work to the elected mayors, CNA always available to collaborate”

“To the mayors elected in the local municipalities, and also to those who will be elected after the ballot, best wishes for good work for the next five years of administrative activity. Our mayors have a very important task, they are the administrators closest to citizens and businesses, they must therefore have a great ability to listen but also to resolve vital problems for the communities, even if they are often in budget constraints. We confirm our willingness to collaborate in a constructive way, with the CNA approach that brings together the needs of the productive world with the well-being of the community: our companies, in fact, are deeply rooted in the social fabric, they are those that create good employment, which do not relocate and bring value to the territory”. It’s the greeting of Lorenzo Zanotti And Franco Napolitanoprovincial president and general director of CNA Forlì-Cesena, to the mayors elected in the municipalities of the province of Forlì-Cesena.

On the occasion of this electoral round, CNA promoted a campaign at provincial level (“CNA DOES IT”) to advance the interests of its members, which resulted in 5 public meetings with the candidates (Forlì, Cesena, Savignano, San Mauro, Gambettola), very lively and participatory, as well as dozens of small meetings, which involved the local managers of the association. With a total participation of over 1,000 people including businesses and citizens.

“We have collected our proposals – they continue Zanotti And Napolitano – and we have summarized them in a document presented to all candidates, with the invitation to sign the priorities indicated by our companies. Now we expect concrete answers from the new administrations: it is up to the elected mayors and their councils to find the solutions requested by the companies. CNA will carefully follow, as it has always done over the years, the activities of the new administrations”.

Among the hot topics, Zanotti And Napolitano they recall: “the institutional framework current situation necessarily requires multiple paths, and the involvement of different levels to face the challenges that await us. We have presented concrete proposals on local taxation: reduce IMU rates on instrumental properties; homogeneous tourist tax, intended for tourism development; common tax schedule. In the field of waste: facilitate dialogue with entrusted companies, incentives for the circular economy and discussion table to effectively implement the punctual tariff. There is still a lot to do regarding administrative simplification, through self-certification, the digitization of archives, the “Once Only” method and other innovative tools. We need policies support for businesses and employment, accompanying the ecological transition and urban regeneration, supporting new businesses and business continuity, with rewards for those who do not relocate, hire or invest, 0 km contracts and provincial tourism policies. All this confirming ours no to illegal construction And yes to safety. We have asked the candidates for a specific commitment on these issues and we will continue to support them in their discussions with local administrations throughout their entire mandate. Again, good work to everyone, we’re here!”
