Rome – As announced weeks ago after the investigation involving the port of Genoa, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport now officially formalized the establishment of a ministerial commission which will have the task of carrying out, “for administrative purposes, a technical inspection activity on the procedures for issuing state concession documents – and with respect to any other fact, act or information connected to these procedures – by the Port System Authority of Western Ligurian Sea”, reads the MIT note.

The commission is made up of three members with proven experience in the legal and administrative sector: Doctor Salvatore Pilatomagistrate of the Court of Auditors and president of the commission; Dr. Patrizia Scarchilli, general director at MIT for the sea, maritime transport and inland waterways; The Captain Giuseppe Stranooutgoing commander of the Port Authority of Fiumicino.
