We remind you that Penelope Lazio is the National Association of Families and Friends of Missing Persons (ODV). It is responsible for coordinating searches for missing people.
Sara’s disappearance from Aprilia
Sara, 16 years old, lives in Aprilia with his family. On Tuesday 11 June, he took the train to Rome and from there, presumably by bus, to Ponte Galeria to meet with Jasmine, a peer of his who was staying in a facility for minors.
From here the two left around 7.30pm, boarding a Cotral bus. Nothing has been heard since then. A report was filed for the disappearance of Sara, but also of her friend Jasmine.
Sara has her cell phone with her, which is turned off, but not her documents. The broadcast is also covering the disappearance Who has seen?which yesterday broadcast the appeal and published the profile of the missing sixteen-year-old on its website.
The appeal
“They ran away together – explains Sara’s mother on Facebook – if anyone spots them they can immediately call the police, the report has already been made”. For Jasmine, it is not her first escape: her name is already present in the local news, as she had already disappeared without a trace in the past. They met with Sara via social media and had been dating for about a year.
The Penelope association, which immediately took action to track down Sara, received dozens of reports about Sara’s presence in Latina.
“Many reports are arriving at our emergency number Pronto Penelope indicating the presence of Sara and Jasmine in Latina in the central area,” we read in the social appeal.
“We ask for your help for Sara, please share as much as possible. Sara is a minor, we absolutely have to bring her home to her mother who is very worried.”
How to help
Sara, of slim build and 1.55 meters tall, was wearing a white t-shirt and long trousers at the time of her disappearance. She has short brown hair, a lip piercing and an earring in her right ear.
