The University of Trieste confirms its markedly international and professionalizing vocation and its attractiveness for students: the most dynamic and attractive in the Region, the Julian university guarantees its graduates better pay it’s a employment performance above the national averageensuring an excellent post-graduation transition.

This is the picture that emerges from the Almalaurea 2024 report which examined around 300 thousand 2023 graduates from 78 universities.

In detail, with regards to work and salaries, the Julian university guarantees employment to over 91.1% of master’s graduates – +1.1% compared to 2023 – five years after the title (88.2% national figure) e all‘81.3% at one year (Italian average 75.7%).

They find work 77.2% of three-year contracts within twelve months of the title compared to 74.1% of the national average and 79% of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Finally, the University of Trieste ensures one higher salary than the local and Italian average with 1,437 Euros for three-year graduates And, for master’s degree holders, 1,513 Euros one year after the title and 1,826 Euros after five.

It also comes from 41.5% of graduates came from outside the region of the university compared to the regional average of 34.1% and the national average of 24.8%, with an excellent 4.5% coming from abroad (regional figure 3.6%). Over 12.2% of three-year graduates – +2.2% compared to 2023 – undertake study experiences abroad, compared to 9.3% FVG and 7.3% of the Italian average. Not only that, the total number of graduates studying abroad recognized by the degree program also confirms the internationalization of the academic experience promoted by the university: with an average of 11.9%. – the previous year it stood at 9.5% – the University of Trieste exceeds the national figure by more than two percentage points (9.8%).

The knowledge and skills acquired, in Trieste and abroad, translate into an excellent evaluation of the effectiveness of the qualification, understood as usability in the reference sector: over 66% of three-year graduates define the title as “effective”, compared to the FVG average of 62% and the Italian 61.7%. Data also confirmed by master’s degrees with over 73% one year after the title (national 69.5%; regional 71.7%).

Alongside its international vocation, the university confirms the markedly professionalising character of its study courses: in particular, 76.6% – with an increase of 2.2% compared to 2023 – of master’s graduates (63.6% national; 70 .5% regional) and almost 60.2% of the single-cycle ones (national 58%; regional 59.3%) have, in fact, been able to benefit from a wide range of curricular internships offered by the university to students.

Relationship with the teaching staff, study load, available infrastructure: beyond 87.7% of students declare themselves satisfied with the overall university experience in Trieste.
