ALEXANDRIA – Il The longest night of the year will be held on June 22nd in Alessandria. The event will begin at 9am on 22 June 2024 with the agri-food stalls in Piazza Cerianaanticipated on the 21st, from Matteo Tarantino at the Centro Incontro Cristo for the Neighborhood Traders’ Festival in Piazza Ceriana.
The appointment is crucial for Alessandria, as explained by Enzo Cirimele,”we are ready, we have invested a lot. This event is like putting together Carnival, Spring Fair and Christ’s Day and for this a “Thank you” goes to all the volunteers and traders, to the Amag group, to the city of Alessandria and to the sponsors who believed in us“. The enormous amount of entertainment opportunities will also bring a large number of people and for this reason the Association has already invited “the residents of Cristo” to reach the Festival on foot. “We are expecting a record audience and it will be the biggest event ever for our neighborhood. Created in partnership with the Municipality of Alessandria and the Amag Group, it will be live on 3 radio stations. A show with over 60 artists, more than 45 points for dinner or an aperitif at our activities. Street food, stalls, entertainment for children, summer shopping with shops open, sporting activities, fashion show, inflatables and much more. Among the new features is the possibility of admiring and testing the legendary Limousine“.
The Festival has deep roots because it started in 2018 thanks to a commitment from the District and the Southern area which, through events, demonstrations, listening to citizens, a trip to places in the area, the active involvement of the suburbs, involved thousands of people in a teamwork made up of associations, parishes, schools, Christ Encounter Center, Soms, Cento Grigio and many others. Three Presidents, Roberto Mutti, Silvana Sordo and Enzo Cirimele over the years, they have followed all the stages with hundreds of commercial activities actively involved and as many events, “a teamwork that has always worked through people who have become a point of reference. The Neighborhood and the City have always responded in a great way with record participation numbers, “an important organizational model” that has always worked. The long program will start from 6pm and continue until 1.30amwith roads closed from 2pm.
