From purchasing a house to making a will, from advice on taxation and mortgages, to advice on the “after us” law. There are many consultations and advice requested by citizens as part of the free service “The notary answers”, a commitment that has been renewed since 2010 and which has satisfied the requests of approximately 2200 Italian and foreign citizens. A service that will be active for a few more weeks, before the usual interruption expected in the summer weeks.

This is an opportunity for citizens to approach a notary, not only as has always happened at his office, but informally, through meetings at the municipal headquarters. To orient yourself more easily, through simple answers and with understandable terminology, making use of free consultancy, right from the initial stages, with an informal and close meeting.

The service, called “The notary answers”, which was requested by many citizens even in the first 5 months of 2024, has provided more than 2200 free consultations in these 14 years – from 2010 to today. Users who have booked for the Tuesday afternoon appointment, with the aim of having a free consultation with a notary. The notarial consultancy desk has been active in the headquarters of the Public Relations Office since 2010, i.e. since the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Municipality of Rimini and the Notary Council of Forlì and Rimini.

Starting from July 2nd, consultations will stop for a few weeks, before resuming in September, after the summer break. The service will return to being active starting from September 10th, with the same objectives.

In particular, to facilitate knowledge of legal and tax issues, especially for those who belong to the economically weaker groups and find themselves in need of consulting a legal professional on various matters. Or for those who need to request a qualified opinion on how to draw up a valid will, buy a house, pass on assets to children or take out a mortgage. A consultancy that also extends to taxation relating to the purchase of the first home, tax deductions for maintenance, financing and renegotiation of mortgages, mortgages, marital property regimes, and again, inheritances, donations, wills, taxes and consumer protection regulations.

Among the many information requested, we also mention the numerous consultancies on the law called “after us”, concerning the protection of disabled people, or those relating to the legislation on de facto couples and civil unions.

Since last September, the “The notary responds” desk has been located in the multipurpose office in Corso d’Augusto 152 and is open every Tuesday afternoon, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. The service is organized by appointment and must be booked by calling the URP on the telephone number 0541/704704. There are approximately 20 notaries in the Province of Rimini who alternate with assistance shifts defined directly by the Notary Council of the combined Districts of Forlì and Rimini.
