An illness, or perhaps an incorrect use of the drugs he was taking. The causes of the sudden death of Filippo Simionato, 18 years old, found lifeless in the house where he lived with his family in Casale sul Sile, in the province of Treviso, are still to be clarified. It was his mother who made the terrible discovery, returning home in the early afternoon of yesterday, June 12, after going out on an errand.
In shock, the woman immediately alerted the emergency services, but attempts to resuscitate the young man proved futile. The ambulance and the Suem118 ambulance from Treviso intervened on site, together with two police patrols.
The body available to the judicial authority
The boy’s body was transported to the morgue of the Ca’ Foncello hospital in Treviso at the disposal of the judicial authorities pending a possible autopsy examination that could shed light on the causes of death. A tragedy that has left the family and the local community dismayed: “The sudden loss of such a young boy represents an immense pain for all of us” said the mayor of Casale sul Sile. “The entire community is shocked, we are speechless. The municipal administration is close to the family and is making itself available to give them support in facing this difficult moment”, added the mayor.
