It will be a weekend dedicated to historic cars, starting in Prato tomorrow with the passage of the Mille Miglia and then continuing on Sunday in Montemurlo with the rally of historic cars organized by Camet (Club Auto e Moto d’Epoca Toscano) with the patronage of the Municipality of Montemurlo. The organization and the Municipality of Montemurlo wanted to give this year’s event a particular significance in memory of the disastrous flood of 9 months ago which brought death and very serious damage to the area. The historic cars will be in Piazza Don Milani for the registration procedures and where they will remain on display from 9am to 10.30am, free entry. The cars will then depart in the direction of the Cantine Pancrazi and then climb the hills to the Villa del Barone and the Rocca di Montemurlo. They will then parade in the places of the 2023 flood, along the Bagnolo stream, the town of Montemurlo and the industrial area, with a “memory route” that remembers those days. Another important value of the 2024 Montemurlo rally is the demonstration of how it is possible to approach the world of historic motoring even for the disabled.

The cars will then arrive in Agliana in the Lago Primo Maggio park where they will remain on display until 4pm.
