It seems an endless construction site the one that would have (would have, because the works have not yet been completed) had to be redeveloped the play area in via Guardini, in the Sant’Albino district in Monza. «The previous Allevi administration had approved the works for the redevelopment of the green area and for the installation of new games for children – say the volunteers of the Neighborhood watch – The work was supposed to start in March 2023 but started in July. According to the sign posted, they should have lasted three months but that park, which is the only one equipped with games in the neighbourhood, was only reopened in March this year».

For the entire duration of the works the park remained closed but once reopened defects emerged which the residents themselves had already raised. «The benches and games are completely in the sun, and so mothers have to bring towels to spread on the lawn under the plants to be able to stay in the shade for a bit», continue from the Neighborhood Watch. But not only.
«A couple of months ago the green technicians intervened to tidy up the garden. With the vehicles they entered the small park and pressed the ground which has since no longer drained. And so every time it rains and especially after the violent storms of recent days, the ground becomes a lake. The water also covers the ice rink and then it takes days for all the water to be reabsorbed. We wonder – they add from the CdV – what the maintenance works were for. But we have not yet had an answer to this question».
