The transfer market is boiling in Versilia where Camaiore, between stays and signings, is setting up a squadron in view of the next Eccellenza in order not to be outdone by Fratres Perignano and Mobilieri Ponsacco who were taking the stage in the transfer market. Even the newly promoted Viareggio makes its moves. While in the Promotion it’s Pietrasanta’s turn to fire the shots now!
In Eccellenza the president/director from Camaiore Michele Pardini is going wild and, together with the sporting director Iacopo Pellegrini and the coach Pietro Cristiani, is giving shape to a truly strong team. The confirmations came pouring in, one after the other: after Barsottini, Zambarda and Da Pozzo, those of Borgia, Amico and Anzilotti were also made official. While captain Fabio Biagini was “cut” (the armband will now be fixed on the arm of the Camaiore native D’Alessandro: whose announcement of his stay is expected shortly). But in the Bluamaranto home team, the two great signings were also made public: the 34-year-old Marco Granaiola (former captain of Seravezza) in midfield and the 28-year-old high-class striker Federico Nardi (who was at Ponte Buggianese). And soon Camaiore should also close Cornacchia (who was at Massese) and Bacci (he was at Montecatini) by arranging the upper flanks for what could be a great 4-4-2 in the mind of Cristiani (who is also considering other modules having ductility).
But the reinforcements also arrive in Viareggio where, after the additions in defense of the expert central Sorbo from Tuttocuoio and the 2003 left back Bertelli from Siena, here is the attacker who will be able to act both as partner and assistant to Brega’s striker: he has in fact been announced Mattia Morelli (son of the late Claudio), born in 2000 ex Camaiore, Armando Picchi, San Marco Avenza, Cenaia, Lastrigiana and River Pieve (with the Garfagnini he scored 9 goals in the second half of last season alone!). “I was just waiting for this call – says Morelli – I’m from Viareggio and I know what it means to wear this shirt. The zebras instead say goodbye to Tommaso Fazzini (is he going to Real FQ?).
Pietrasanta is moving well in Promotion and, after having lost a “top” piece in each department with Genovali (Perignano), Ghelardoni and Mengali (Ponsacco), they redo their look and after the effective shot Mattiello points to Leonardo Terigi behind, Biagini in in the middle of the field and Elia Bruzzi in front.
