Another splendid adventure, television and singing, has come to an end. The final of Io Canto Family 2024 crowned winners Carlotta and mother Erika D’Amico and perhaps their triumph is a manifestation of the beauty of this program which was able to convey the purest and most genuine emotions in the simplest way. The final act of the programme, close to the closing credits, was rightly dedicated to the immediate words of Carlotta and mother Erika after the victory at Io Canto Family 2024.
“When I saw our name on the screen, I couldn’t believe it… I was overjoyed and in disbelief, but I’m happy to have reached this goal with mum.” These are the words of Carlotta who struggled to believe that really, along with his mother Erikahad managed to conquer the victory of Io Canto Family 2024: “We won because we brought joy, lightness, love. The most difficult moment was having to overcome my fears and anxieties; having to be a support for Carlotta when I still felt weak”. Mother Erika continues thus, adding: “But she always gave me the right strength, even when I did something wrong she told me that everything had gone well.”

Crowned winners of Io Canto Family 2024, Carlotta and mother Erika D’Amico they couldn’t help but dedicate a thought of affection and gratitude towards Mietta, or rather the coach who chose them for this splendid journey which culminated in the triumph. “Having this experience with Mietta was an incredible thing; she reflects a bit of what I am too, that is, strength, determination”, explained mother Erika, while Carlotta: “I would like to say thank you to Mietta because she supported us, I love her very much!”.
Before saying goodbye, Carlotta and mother Erika they revealed to the public of Io Canto Family 2024 the performances that will carry in the heart. For mother Erika: “‘Mariposa’ it was among the most beautiful pieces we did because It’s about women’s empowerment, strength, courage and the fact that everyone can be what they want.”. For the little one Carlotta it was instead one of the last performances to have had a noteworthy value: “The song I liked the most was ‘Pazza’; I see her like a revenge against all the difficult moments we’ve been through”. Now that the victory of Io canto family 2024 is a reality, for Carlotta and mother Erika it is time to return to normality and above all to relax: “Now I will go back to work in my bar and Carlotta will rest, then we will definitely take a holiday!”.
