Reggio Emilia The cinema under the stars in the citywhich will accompany the people of Reggio Emilia throughout the summer, is inaugurated this evening (9pm) at the Stalloni Arena with the presentation in first ever of the film “The Humanity of Error”, created by the Frame Collective with the supervision of Alessandro Scillitani and based on the theme of twenty-third edition of the Reggio Film Festivalscheduled from 4 to 10 November: errors.
What are the origins and meaning of human error? What are the consequences and risks that human beings are facing? Are we facing the end of humanity?
Starting from these questions, Francesca Ferrando, posthuman philosopher, Giovanni Anceschi, data and AI delivery leader, Vanessa Roghi, pedagogist, Angelo Marino, management engineer and Stefano Boni, anthropologist were interviewed.
The visionary images that accompany the film were created in a mix of reality and Artificial Intelligence.
Alessandro Scillitani says: «The team proved to be particularly talented. This meant that different creative skills were brought into synergy, building a powerful story that investigates the relationships between technologies, war and the climate crisis. A disturbing and at the same time free film was born about what human beings are facing.”

Collettivo Frame is made up of Riccardo Giberti, Francesco Scaffardi, Francesco Pifferi, Alessio Gentile, Pietro Fontanesi, Paolo Beltrami, Biagio Iacolare with the collaboration of Anna Luna Di Marzo, Ida Pellegrino and Daniela Console. The original music was created by Lorenzo Valdesalici, Pietro Fontanesi and AI. The role of coordinators fell to Claudia Nasi and Brisilda Gjashi.
The film opens the summer cinema season in Reggio Emilia and, in case of bad weather, it will be screened at the Rosebud Cinema. The evening is organized in collaboration with Arci Reggio Emilia and the Municipality’s Cinema Office. Entrance is free and free.
As for the Frame Collective, it was established as part of VideoLab Plus, an Officina Educativa project – Youth participation and well-being, in collaboration with Sd Factory Laboratorio Creativo, Unimore, Artemide Film, Reggio Film Festival, Social cooperative Centro Sociale Papa Giovanni XXIII with the contribution from the Emilia-Romagna Region.l
