A 47-year-old voyeur from Cerra has been reported because he was discovered while he was taking photos under a woman’s skirt. The incident happened in November 2023 at the La Carbonaia shopping park in San Vittore Olona. But similar episodes of voyeurism, which cannot be traced back to the same author, recently also happened in Legnano. These are situations bordering on the absurd which often appear unreal in the eyes of the victim. Embarrassment and disbelief remain, also because we don’t know exactly what to report. Yet there is a crime and it is that of illicit interference with private life, a violation that is committed with the use of visual or audio recording tools such as cell phones.
In the specific case, the one detected in San Vittore Olona by the Carabinieri of the Cerro Maggiore station concerns a woman in a skirt who was at the checkout waiting to pay for what she had just purchased in a shoe shop. Here the 47-year-old, according to the testimonies collected, furtively leaned behind the woman, maintaining a close distance and holding his mobile phone, with the aim of obtaining images of her private parts. In light of this, the Judicial Authority of Busto Arsizio promptly ordered a search of the 47-year-old, identified as a celibate and currently unemployed man from Cerrese. The subject tested positive in the Investigation System (SDI) as a drug user.
