Friday 14 June 2024 – at 9.15 pm MEGANOIDI, one of the most followed Italian musical groups in the nineties, will be in concert at the Rocca Malatestiana with “Brucia anchor tour 2024” which will take them around Italy until the end of 2024.
“I Meganoids” inaugurate the “Musicology live” exhibition, the new proposal by ROCCA UNIVERSALE, a heterogeneous and surprising journey through the music of great authors and performers and sounds capable of transmitting different passions and energies.
The Genoa Group will have as its “support” the young guest musicians: SMITCH IN BLU RAY and LAPOLVERIERA
From their first concerts, The Meganoids show a predisposition for compositional experimentation, focusing their energies on self-production and artistic self-determination.
Among the most significant international experiences for the Genoese band:
in 2004 they represented Italy at the Eurosonic Festival in Groningen, Holland and at the Japan Tour, during which they performed four concerts in the cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya;
In 2004 they were guests of the prestigious French festival ‘Nice Jazz Festival 2004’ and opened Peter Gabriel’s concert.
