Marco Bernardi, from Casina, formerly Reggiana, is the new sporting director of Carpi. The announcement will be made today, but the agreement was reached in the last few hours and from 1 July Bernardi will sign a two-year agreement with the red and white club. Born in 1986, Bernardi (photo) started in Casina as a sports director in the First Category, and then moved to Scandianese and Sampolese in Eccellenza. From there, three years of experience for him in the youth sector of Reggiana and finally in that of Imolese. In the summer of 2018 he landed in Correggio at the court of Claudio Lazzaretti, where he worked for two years alongside mister Cristian Serpini. In Correggio he built the team of the record year with the victory of the Eccellenza 2 months early and then came the debut in D (in the role of manager of the technical area, with director Maule at his side) in 2019-20 , when at the time of the stop due to Covid Serpini’s team was third. In 2020 he bid farewell to move to D at Fiorenzuola, where he won the championship bringing the Rossoneri back to Serie C.
