Three Fridays of music in Piazzetta Gandhi and in the surrounding pedestrian areas
As part of the project “Integrated safety of the pedestrian path above the western city walls for tourist accessibility to the historic center” financed by the Emilia-Romagna Region, three moments of entertainment are scheduled in Ravenna in Piazzetta Gandhi and in the surrounding pedestrian areas for the next three Fridays, 21 and 28 June and 5 July from 9pm.
Through the project, currently being implemented by the Municipality of Ravenna, which aims to make the route from the sanctuary of Santa Maria del Torrione to Piazza Baracca fully livable and usable, the video surveillance network at strategic points, coinciding with some sections of the route currently not equipped and implemented public lighting in some places where it was insufficient; will be improved signage, especially tourist and commercial; monitoring activities were carried out on the walls with the involvement of teenagers through the mobile street unit and initiatives will be carried out aimed at revitalize the area.
Here, then, are the events organized on the first Friday evenings of summer, when historically the historic center of Ravenna opens up to welcome citizens and tourists with its shops and monuments open. On 21 and 28 June, in particular, in collaboration with Cisim and Lato Oscuro Della Costa, two evenings will be organized that speak to young people with the Swiss rapper Mattak as the main protagonist of the first evening, accompanied by Ugo Crepa, Djomi, Albino and Tony Lattuga, and on the 28th a song contest with DJ Tony Lattuga. On Friday 5 July the music of the Tiger Dixie Band which, starting from the area surrounding Piazzetta Gandhi, will continue towards Via Cavour, with the energy of jazz and the sound of New Orleans.
