MESSINA – On Saturday 15 June Messina is preparing to welcome the rapper Geolier for a great concert at the Franco Scoglio Stadium. For the occasion, ATM Messina has prepared an extraordinary service plan to facilitate public movement and guarantee an orderly inflow and outflow of the event area. A shuttle bus service will connect the city center to the stadium with frequent runs from 5pm to 9pm and from 11pm until late at night, to allow concert participants to return. The shuttle buses will travel between the Zir and via Adolfo Celi (ex SS 114), near the junction for the Franco Scoglio Stadium.
In addition to the shuttles, Atm Messina has planned an expansion of the tram service for the entire day of June 15th. The trams will run frequently to connect the stadium with the city center and the main peripheral areas, guaranteeing an efficient mobility service even for those who do not want to use the shuttles. The ticket for the shuttle (round trip) costs four euros and can be purchased at the Caronte&Tourist boarding stations, in the sales boxes of Atm Spa (Annunziata, Cavallotti, Zir, Front-Office Via La Farina), at the automatic ticket machines Atm MovUp (active 24 hours a day), via the Atm MovUp app and the other connected apps (Money go, Drop ticket, Tabnet) and at SIR (Network Services) resellers affiliated with Atm Spa.
