At 27 years old Tanguy Ndombele finds himself without a team. The midfielder has officially terminated his contract with Tottenham and is unemployed, looking for a new place where he can continue his career which has been very troubled so far. It seems absurd to think that just a year ago he won the Scudetto with Napolibecoming part (even if with a secondary role) of a historical moment.
Then he moved to Türkiye with the Galatasaray but even there he was seen little and he disregarded all the premises that had accompanied him since he wore the Lyon shirt. With the Tottenham he never exploded, despite the English club having purchased him in 2019 for the disproportionate sum of 62 million eurosone of the worst investments in recent years.

Now at 27 the midfielder will have to find a way to reinvent himself. Ndombele was left without a team and he will be able to find another position on a free transfer, perhaps settling for a salary that will no longer meet the standards he was used to with the Premier League and other adventures. It is the end of a sad story, marked by many disappointments and a drop in performance that no one would have ever expected.
