The Serie C NOW sports season ended with a play-off with record numbers. Lhe final between Carrarese and Vicenza, played on Sunday, almost reached one million average spectators, with the number of unique contacts almost doubling. On Sky, the reach for the double final was 847 thousand viewers. Equally notable results were recorded on Now and Rai, with the Vicenza-Avellino semi-final establishing a record on RaiSport, reaching one million contacts alone. The finals were also broadcast internationally by Rai Italia and Fifa+.

Thanks to this data, the NOW C Series has achieved a great goal: over 3 million stadium attendances between regular season and play off, with a net increase of 32 thousand attendances (+16%) compared to last year and an increase in takings of 824 thousand euros. On social networks, the following was also significant, with a 48.6% increase in impressions on Facebook, a 33.6% increase in accounts reached on Instagram, over a million more views on TikTok and an increase of over 10 thousand followers on all major platforms.

These playoffs were the first in the history of Serie C NOW to take place entirely with the help of VAR, a crucial tool for the refereeing class, which monitored 241 episodeswith a correction every 4.7 games.

The “Play for Charity” initiative, in collaboration with Live Charity, attracted great interest: the balls from the first goals of the play-off matches, autographed by the scorers, and the shirts of the eight finalists were auctioned off, receiving around a thousand offers. The proceeds will be donated to the Meyer Foundation.
