On the days scheduled by the FIGC for this type of operation, Modena FC exercised the right of option provided for AC Perugia Calcio for Simone Santoro. From July 1st the footballer will be purchased outright.
Numbers. The midfielder is contractually bound to Modena until June 30th 2026 with an option, in favor of the club, also for the 2026-27 season. Arriving in the gialloblù in January 2024, Santoro, born on 15 September 1999, made 15 appearances in the second part of the season, always appearing among the best on the pitch. Will and personality, tactical flexibility, application and resistance: these are the qualities that the midfielder, from Sicily from Messina, has already highlighted.
Words. “Perugia was an important stage in my career, but since January I have been thinking and fighting only for Modena and being confirmed was my goal – declares Santoro -. I thank the Rivetti family and the entire club, I will give everything to repay the trust of the managers and the coach on the pitch. Now I’m enjoying my family and a bit of rest, but I can’t wait to wear the yellow and blue shirt again”.
