The Municipality of Ancona continues with the recruitment plan, implementing the programmatic mandate lines. Yesterday two competition notices expired for which 831 applications were received for administrative officer (formerly category D, 348 applications) and instructor (formerly category C, n. 483 applications) full-time permanent. The two competitions, the first written test of which will be held at the Palaprometeo in Ancona next Thursday 27 June, are only the last step in the recruitment activity of the Municipal Administration: from the beginning of the mandate, i.e. in just over a year , have been carried out 85 hiresincluding 52 in 2023 and 33 year to date.

Hirings and terminations from the beginning of the mandate

The one who benefited from this increase in personnel was first of all “the Local Police Force because – explains the Personnel Councilor Orlanda Latini – as we anticipated at the beginning of the mandate, they are reserved for this sector, with a view to a decisive strengthening , the largest hirings over the three-year period”. Other structures were also able to benefit from the entry of new units to replace staff no longer in office, but also to strengthen the technical sectors, such as Public Works, Environment and Civil Protection. The need for new hires also arises from 93 terminations of employment relationships (66 in 2023 and 27 from January to today) linked to retirements, mobility and resignations following participation in other competitions at other institutions.

Public competitions in progress

In addition to the tenders that expired yesterday, there are three public competitions (for a total of 27 new units) for which the Human Resources Service is proceeding with the completion of the final competitive tests to arrive at the final rankings. Specifically, 15 new Local Police officers will be hired (the oral test is scheduled for 1, 2 and 3 July), 7 public works and Civil Protection officials (the oral tests took place on 10 and 11 June) and finally 5 technical officials expert in urban and environmental planning (for whom the oral test is scheduled for next June 20th).

Upcoming competition notices

To implement the Three-Year Personnel Requirements Plan for the years 2024/2026 approved by the municipal council, the Doric body will announce further three public competitions: one for surveyor instructor or expert (Ex Cat. B), one for technical-worker collaborator (Ex Cat. B) and one for Social Worker.
