Great anticipation in Potenza for the 1st “Piero Rinaldi” Memorial on June 15th which will begin on the Principe di Piemonte fields at 9.30am. The following will participate: the Representative Basilicata U. 15, SSC Bari U.15 and US Salernitana U. 15. In the afternoon, however, the initiatives will continue, starting from 5.00 pm, at the Provincial Archaeological Museum of Potenza, the 3rd Bench d’Oro in memory of PIERO RINALDI.
The event promoted by the Italian Association of Football Coaches of Basilicata and the LND CR Basilicata also proposes a meeting this year to honor the memory of the president of the Italian Football Federation of Basilicata CR Basilicata, Piero Rinaldi who passed away three years ago. The Golden Bench will reward the winners of the various regional and provincial championships of 11-a-side football and men’s and women’s 5-a-side football played during the season in Basilicata, including the Cup competitions. All the presidents and various representatives of the territory of the LND Regional Committee of Basilicata, of the Coni Basilicata, of the FIGC-Youth and School Sector, of the Italian Association of Sports Directors and of the Aiac Basilicata, the organizing body, are expected. Among the winners was also Mr. Bernardino Filardi, for the contribution he made on social media free of charge and made available to his colleagues. Filardi has been away from the football pitch for some years for health reasons and has always demonstrated passion and expertise in the sector, which is why this recognition is more than deserved.
