Bari, the film with Scott Eastwood is being shot among the avenues of Di Venere

The external environments of the Di Venere hospital in Carbonara ‘lent’ to the cinema for a day. Some scenes from the film ‘Stolen Girl’ were filmed yesterday: a thriller directed by James Kent and written by Rebecca Pollock and Kas Graham which boasts in its cast leading international stars such as Kate Beckinsale and Scott Eastwood, her son Clint, already spotted in Puglia in recent weeks with culinary stops also in Altamura.

The film, inspired by a true story, is mainly set in Ohio in the 1990s, but in the development of the story it also includes ‘blitz’ in Beirut. Made in Puglia – between Bari, Taranto and some locations in lower Salento – at the end of May the production moved the film set to Loseto: a neighborhood in Bari which, for a few hours, became the capital of Lebanon.

The Bari Local Health Authority, this morning, published a post on social media with the cameras placed on the avenues of the Carbonara hospital. In the background, the walls of the Opera Pia Di Venere are clearly visible, the embryo from which the current hospital was born. “Outside the actors and crew of the ‘great cinema machine’ – write the ASL -, inside the hospital the protagonists of health: each, as always, committed to doing their ‘part’ as best as possible!”.
