A great day was experienced by the Under 19 team of Antares Nuoto Latina who beat Roma Waterpolo of the same age in the semifinals away in the temple of the Foro Italico and continues their march towards access to the final stages of the Juniores National B category.
Game well conducted by Mr. Gubitosa’s youngsters, with an excellent defense to contain the opponent’s midfield and deadly counterattacks in attack which led to the maximum advantage of four goals at the end of the third half (3 to 7). The reaction of the Capitoline players in the last quarter was contained by the Latin players who, at +2, managed the last minute well and closed 5-7 to the uncontainable joy of everyone. Rossoblù hat-tricks for Veglia and Chemello and goals from Viccione, but above all a great performance from the whole team who demonstrated defensive solidity, starting from the usual bulwark and number one Bernardini. Now head to the final against the favorite Anzio Waterpolis, second place in group A.
