There is the Monza-based company Quantyca, second place in Italy, among the top 20 best companies to work for according to Gen Z. The top spot is occupied by the Puglia-based Apuliasoft based in Bari, active in software development, while the Monza-based company that deals with IT consultancy and the Milan-based Accuracy, active in the management consultancy sector for corporate management, complete the podium.

The Best Workplaces for Gen Z ranking was drawn up for the first time by Great Place to Work Italia by listening to the opinion expressed by 3,407 “zoomer” collaborators active in 99 companies who responded to a 60-question questionnaire.

Among the work sectors preferred by Gen Z, IT (40%) and professional services (25%) dominate. Healthy work-life balance, psychological safety and the ability to flexibly manage personal needs they are the distinctive features of the best working environments according to very young people. “The challenge for companies in retaining “zoomers” is arduous: needs and value are very different from past generations” declares Beniamino Bedusa, President of Great Place To Work Italia.

Gen Z, what they appreciate in the world of work

Generation Z in the “Best” companies particularly appreciates aspects of sociality in the workplacepositively evaluating the relationship with colleagues, the team and the welcome received. So much to arrive, in 93% of casesto recommend the organization they work for as an excellent work environment to friends and acquaintances, with a gap of 13 percentage points compared to companies not in the ranking (80%).
