CATANIA – According to the police, he was dealing at night, in the populous San Giovanni Galermo district of Catania, despite being under house arrest for the same crime. This is the accusation made against a 22-year-old who was arrested by the Carabinieri of the operational unit of the Fontanarossa company.
The young man, caught delivering doses to customers in cars, in sight of the Carabinieri he fled and sought refuge in the entrance hall of a nearby building, but was stopped. He was in possession of 26 heat-sealed wrappers, containing 4 grams of cocaine, another 39 wrappers containing 9.5 grams of cocaine, a two-way radio and the sum of 20 euros, considered the first proceeds from the drug dealing activity.
The accusation
The 22 year old, arrested for drug dealing last April 18, he was subjected to the obligation to stay and report to the Carabinieri at the Viagrande station. Arrested again on May 24th for the same crime, he was placed under house arrest.
The investigating judge, accepting the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, ordered the aggravation of the precautionary measure against the suspect by issuing an order that ordered his transfer to prison.
