Culture of legality and fight against gender violence in the exhibition «Transpositions in nature»
Grosseto: The fight against gender violencethe ability to regenerate with nature, the difference between fragility And weakness. These are some of the concepts they inspired the works of Umberto Tripodiexposed in the auditorium of the Misericordia Hospital in Grosseto. During the periodic monitoring committee carried out by the director Michele Dentamaro, the innovation affecting the multifunctional environment of the Grosseto hospital was illustrated.
This is a selection of paintings that the author entitled «Transpositions in nature». «Exhibiting at the Grosseto hospital for me represents a further moment of comparison and dialogue between these works and the environments that host them – declares Tripodi – the social themes are essential for me, here we find several starting from the question of discrimination of genre to the theme of violence, but we also talk about legality with the work dedicated to the massacre in Via D’Amelio. I chose the hospital at the invitation of the director Dentamaro whom I thank, the hospital is a suitable context, as in these works life as in a vortex is an embrace between souls”.
