SUCCESS AT THE ASC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Piacenza Farnesiana Karate participated in the ASC National Championship which was held at the Cervia Sports Hall where 1,170 athletes from all over Italy were present. The Piacenza team led by Maestro Gian Luigi Boselli, the Technician Giorgio Livelli, the Instructor Pier Paolo Cagnoni, the coaches Giulia Ghilardotti and Marco Risoli participated with 13 athletes and won 11 medals with particularly excellent performances:

Gold medals for: Nicole Famà in the Under10 category with twenty participating athletes, she took part in four matches and demonstrated that she is a real talent by overcoming all her opponents, always with a unanimous opinion from all the referees. His brother Elia Famà also took part in four matches in the Under12 category with nineteen athletes, beating all his opponents. Michelle Rizzoli, new athlete of national interest from Fijlkam, in the Beginners -45kg category where eighteen athletes were present, took part in four matches, easily overcoming all her opponents. Gold also for Gaia Granelli in the Cadette -47kg category, she had three matches demonstrating excellent tactics and great elegance in the techniques she used, Giulia Ghilardotti in the Senior -50kg category overcame her opponents without suffering any technique, demonstrating great experience and splendid speed in the techniques performed.

Two athletes from Piacenza won the silver medal: Martina Ponenti, new athlete of national interest from Fijlkam, in the Beginners -35kg category and Eva Dallavalle in the Cadette -54kg category.
The results of the athletes who won the bronze medal were also excellent: Mia Vera in the Under12 category, Leonardo Scanacapra in the Beginners -43kg category, Ginevra Livelli in the Cadette -54kg category and Sofia Bouraya in the Juniores -59kg category.

The next commitments in the month of June for Karate Piacenza are the CTR GAMES FIJKAM selection in the Central-Italy area in Rome and the FIJLKAM Open League which will be held in Rome, a match valid for the Fijlkam national ranking.
