The percentages expressed in the local elections of 8 and 9 June sanctioned the election as mayor of Riccardo Righi (with 58.58 percent of the votes) and will give the city a new City Council. Net of any waivers, the composition of the new Council – which will have 24 elements – should be as follows.

The centre-left coalition that wins the elections will have 16 councillors. The Democratic Party (which totaled 37.97 percent of the votes) has 12 representatives: Giovanni Masters (330 preferences), Lorella Rossetti (305), Riccardo Martino (287), Linda Oliviero (269), Klaudia Kumaraku (268), Marco Truzzi (244), Elena Brina (234), Paola Borsari (227), Federica Cipolli (216), Mauro D’Orazi (204), Carlo Affuso (191), Marinella Meschieri (174). The “Carpi a colori” list (8.68 percent) will be sent to the Council Marco “Grandpa Pep” from Nardo (106) e Anna Freschetti (88), while the seat won by the Green and Left Alliance (5.04) goes to the outgoing councilor Andrea Artioli (97).

Nine councilors will instead sit on the opposition benches: the six from Fratelli d’Italia (21.11) with the candidate for mayor Annalisa Arletti, Federica Carletti (most voted candidate overall with 591 preferences), Tommaso Casolari (149), Federica Boccaletti (129), Claudio Cortesi (104) e Enrico Fieni (86), Michele De Rosa (191) for Forza Italia which reached 5.75 percent and Giulio Bonzanini (171) for the League which fell to 3.65 percent. It will complete the opposition Monica Medici (candidate for mayor), the only councilor representing the civic center (8.13 percent) formed by Movimento Civico per Carpi (3.58) and Carpi Futura (4.23). Both lists supporting Medici therefore do not express any additional councilors compared to the candidate, just as representatives of Action (2.4 percent), Uniti per Carpi (1.83), Carpi 2.0 (1.29) do not go to the Council. , Carpi Comune (0.99) and Bella Carpi (0.71) – all in support of Righi Sindaco –, Carpi Protagonista (1.75) in support of Arletti, and Forza del Popolo (1.02) in support of Davide Verri.
