The Pink Floyd tour of Nick Mason’s Saurceful of Secrets starts today from Stoke, in the United Kingdom. Also on the prestigious European tour is Roccella in Calabria!
Nick Mason’s European tour starts today from the Victoria Hall in Stoke with his Nick Mason’s Saurceful of Secrets, the super group formed by the legendary musician and co-founder of PinkFloyd to bring some pearls of the legendary British rock group live.
14 dates in the United Kingdom alone, up to the live show in London on 29 June and then, from 2 July in Utrecht (Netherlands), another twenty concerts in the rest of Europe.
The prestigious and unmissable live show, which will visit Paris, Luxembourg, Monaco, Milan, Rome, Berlin and other important European cities, will also have a historic date in Calabria, at the Teatro Il Castello in Roccella Jonica on 24 July.
With Nick Mason there will be an authentic band of all stars of world music: the other Pink Floyd Guy Pratt on bass, Gary Kemp, guitarist of Spandau Ballet, Lee Harris, guitarist of Blockheads and Dom Beken, pianist of Transit Kings. Mason will receive in Roccella the Silver Riccio from the famous Calabrian goldsmith Gerardo Sacco, prize of the 38th edition of the Fatti di Musica Festival directed by Ruggero Pegna, in the section dedicated to the “Myths of World Music”. After stars like Carlos
Santana, Tina Turner, Sting, Simple Minds, Elton John, James Taylor and many others, Pegna managed to ensure the Calabrian public another unmissable gem on the world music scene, with the patronage and collaboration of the Presidency of the Calabria Region.

A live show that will remain in the history of major events in Calabria and which will make use, in the style that contributed to making Pink Floyd unforgettable, of an imposing and spectacular stage setup, with projections and special effects. Nick Mason, one of the greatest drummers of all time, motoring enthusiast, helicopter pilot, writer, received the Honorary Degree in Letters from the University of Westminster in 2012 and the honor of Commander of the Order of the Empire in 2018 British.
After publishing the book “A personal history of Pink Floyd”, the only Pink Floyd always present in the group decided to bring some of the memorable pearls that have marked rock and culture all over the world, with a few unmissable live performances. musical on a global level, consecrating Pink Floyd among the most important and influential cult bands of all time. In the setlist there are about twenty legendary songs, some from the period marked by the “legend” of Syd Barrett, by “Insterstrellar Overdrive” and
“Astronomy Domine” from the first album “The Piper at the Gates of Dawn”, to “One of These days” taken from “Meddle”, from “Saurceful of Secrets”, the title song of the second album and the new project, to “ Point Me at the Sky” by David Gilmour and Roger Waters, also immortalized in a video. And also songs from other sensational albums such as Ummagumma and Atom Heart Mother.
With Nick Mason’s Saurceful of Secrets in 2020 Mason released the album Live at Roundhouse.
The event also has the patronage of the Municipality of Roccella Jonica and the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria.
