Brothers of Italy first party with 34.66%, Democratic party at 30.14%. The results of the European Championships in the province of Ferrara in a certain sense they follow the data at national level (FdI 27.7%, Pd 23.7%), with higher percentages but with the same gap between the two parties.
Giorgia Meloni’s party therefore becomes the first party in the province of Ferrara, making a huge leap forward compared to the 2019 European elections, when it stopped at just 5.3%. In the centre-right there is therefore a change at the topwith the League which falls from 41.9% in 2019 to 8.83% – maintaining the role of third force in the Este province – and Forza Italia (with Noi Moderati and Ppe) which advances to 7.19% (5.8% in 2019).
On the centre-left side the Democratic Party is growing in the province compared to previous European consultations, going from 25.5% to 30.14%, but it is still not enough to displace Melon’s opponents from the top. The comes down 5 Star Movementwhich at this time has to settle for 6.54%, i.e. almost half compared to the 11.5% of 2019. Greens and Left Alliance earns a decent 4.83%. The other parties follow: United States of Europe at 2.41%, Action-We are Europeans at 2.39%, while Santoro’s party, Peace Earth Dignityin its ‘debut’ it had to settle for 1.86%.
Analyzing the data at municipal level, in the capital Ferrara the Democratic Party is the first party with 31.4%, a few tenths of a percent above a Brothers of Italy which totals 31.24%. They follow League with 8.54%, Forza Italia with 7.12%, M5S with 6.55%, Greens and Left Alliance with a good 6.28% and to follow Action-We are Europeans and United States of Europe which both take 2.91%, Peace Earth Dignity at 2.04%.
It should be noted that the Democratic Party is the first party only in Ferrara and Argentawhile in all the other municipalities of our province it is FdI that conquers the top.
