Today’s edition of “Il Corriere dello Sport” focuses on Bari’s pressure on D’Aversa.
Bari is back in charge for D’Aversa. The chances that the Stuttgart coach will sit on the Cesena bench are decreasing. Having missed yesterday’s match with the Romagna club, already scheduled for some time, there is a good chance that Bari will be able to prevail. The alternatives would lead to Pippo Inzaghi, also courted by Pisa, and Mimmo Toscano, also in Bari’s sights but still linked to Cesena after bringing him back to Serie B with record-breaking feats.

But now the chances of D’Aversa sitting on the Cesena bench next year, however, seem much diminished compared to a few days ago.

The flashback for D’Aversa would logically decrease the interest in Pippo Inzaghi who would already be in contact with Pisa from Formentera while waiting for the Tuscan club to reach a consensual resolution with Aquilani. Alternatively, Bari would focus on Mimmo Toscano. But the first choice would remain D’Aversa with the blessing of Antonio Conte who would open a preferential lane to Bari also in the future.
